NEW YEAR'S PROMISES

Most people start the new year
with one (or more) of the following three wishes in mind:

STOP SMOKING
LOSE WEIGHT
or
LEARN ENGLISH

I am afraid I cannot do much about the two first promises.
(Sorry about that!)
But if your wish is connected with studying or improving your English,
"English@Edrissis" has also a wish related to YOU
for this New Year ...
... To be useful -in some way- to you.

Keeping in mind that idea,
Let's start 2013
with a traditional song,
"Auld Lang Syne",
that many people sing in the UK and USA
to celebrate the end of one year
and the arrival of a new one.

It is an old traditional song,
written by the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns,
in the Scottish dialect.

Its original title (in Scottish): "Auld Lang Syne",
could be translated into English as:
"Old long since",
and into Spanish as
"Por los Viejos Tiempos".

Here you are a modern version of "Auld Lang Syne",
performed by the soprano Sissel
(considered "The Golden Voice from Norway").

I hope you like it!
 Enjoy the voice!

I wish you all
a Very Happy New Year 2013 !
